If all previous dues have been cleared and the Total Amount Due is paid in full by the payment due date, the interest-free period applies to the eligible transactions. If only the Minimum Amount Due is paid, interest continues to apply to subsequent transactions from the transaction date.

Different cards offer rewards, discounts or travel benefits across different spending categories, while an additional card can also act as a backup. However, multiple cards also mean more bills, fees and due dates to manage.
A debit card uses money directly from your savings or current account. A credit card allows you to borrow up to an assigned limit and repay the amount later. Credit card balances attract interest and fees if not paid on time, while responsible credit card usage can also help build your credit history.

Bank charges 2.5% of the amount you withdraw using a credit card as a credit card cash advance fee. Credit card cash advance fee is subject to change based on periodic review by IndusInd Bank. Since cash withdrawal transactions attract interest charge from the date of transaction, it is recommended to settle the same at the earliest possible to minimize the outgo towards interest charges.

Simply log in to the IndusInd Bank Mobile Banking App or use any authorised banking channel, select the eligible transaction or outstanding balance, choose your preferred EMI tenure, review the applicable charges and total repayment amount, and confirm your request. Once approved, the amount will be converted into EMIs and billed accordingly.
Credit-card cash withdrawal is rarely free. The applicable fee and interest depend on the card’s current schedule, and interest may start from the withdrawal date. Check the charges first and avoid cash advances unless absolutely necessary.
A direct transfer is generally not a free bank-transfer facility. Some cards may offer a cash advance or pre-approved loan-on-card, but fees and interest can apply. Check for an authorised facility from the issuer instead of using third-party workarounds.
Yes, if the insurer or payment portal accepts credit cards. Check for convenience fees and whether the transaction earns rewards or qualifies for EMI. Eligibility, tenure, interest and other charges depend on the current card offer and terms.

Check the specific card’s reward terms, as transactions such as fuel spends may not qualify for points.

The APR or Annual Percentage Rate represents the total interest applied to your unpaid balance during a billing cycle. You can consider it as the annual cost of borrowing funds on your credit card.
For instance, if the APR on your credit card is 20%, you will incur an interest rate of 20% on any outstanding balances you carry in that year.
Note that even though the APR is a yearly rate, it is charged on your outstanding balances monthly. The higher the APR, the more interest you will pay on the outstanding balances. Hence, it is advisable to clear the outstanding dues at the earliest.
The type of Credit Card transactions eligible for EMI conversion varies as per the card.
Most cards have a minimum transaction limit for EMI conversion, as well as a list of expense categories that are not eligible for conversion. Fuel expenses, for instance, may not be considered for conversion into EMIs.
For example, with the IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card, transactions made for jewellery, fuel, and ATM transactions are not eligible for EMIs. The minimum transaction amount limit for the Nexxt Credit Card also stands above ₹ 2,000.
Open the PDF in a trusted reader and enter the password shared in the statement email or SMS. If you cannot find it, check the original communication, request the statement again through authorised channels or contact customer care.
Yes. Interest rates for revolving credit and cash advances range from 1.79% to 3.95% per month, depending on the card. Interest is calculated daily on the outstanding balance.
If previous dues are cleared and the Total Amount Due is paid in full by the due date, the interest-free period applies to eligible transactions. Cash withdrawals attract interest from the date of withdrawal.
The Minimum Amount Due is the minimum amount shown on your monthly statement that must be paid by the due date. It is not the same as clearing the full outstanding balance.
As per the current formula, it includes 100% of EMIs, GST, fees, finance charges and over-limit amounts, along with 2% of eligible retail spends, cash advances or the remaining balance outstanding. Paying only the minimum amount can increase the interest burden and extend repayment.
If the Total Amount Due is not paid, interest is charged on the outstanding balance. If the Minimum Amount Due is also not paid by the due date, late payment charges apply based on the outstanding balance.
Continued non-payment can affect your credit history, result in the card account being reported as past due and lead to withdrawal of credit facilities.
With IndusInd Bank, you can earn reward points that never expire on everyday transactions. Depending on your Credit Card, you can earn up to 10X reward points on transactions done through your card.
These reward points do not carry an expiry date. You can redeem these points whenever you want, or you can even convert them for cash against your credit card bill. This allows you to make the most out of your daily expenses as well as upgrade your lifestyle.
To avail of complimentary airport lounge access, one can simply present/swipe their eligible IndusInd Bank Credit Card at the point of entry.
