What is Visa Safe Click (VSC)?

VSC is a mobile payment solution from Visa which makes online payments using your Visa card at your favourite ecommerce merchants, safer and more convenient. After you have enrolled on VSC at a particular merchant using your mobile phone, you will be able to make safe and convenient purchase for transactions up to Rs.2000 with just a single click. This solution is available at select ecommerce merchants operating in India and on cards issued by select banks.

  • After successful validation of the onetime password by your bank, your Visa card will be enrolled into VSC.
  • For subsequent transactions upto Rs. 2000 at the select ecommerce merchant, using the same device and Visa card you will not be required to enter a onetime or static password to complete the transaction.

3. Does Visa Safe Click work on all types of mobile devices?
Currently, Visa Safe Click is available only on Android based mobile devices.

4. Is Visa Safe Click safe?

6. I have enrolled/registered for Visa Safe Click, but I am still being prompted to enter a onetime password for a transaction less than Rs. 2000. Why?
Sometimes, for additional security reasons, you might be prompted to enter a onetime password even for transactions up to Rs.2000 on a card that has been enrolled for VSC.

8. I have recently renewed/reissued/replaced my card. Do I need to enroll for VSC once again?
Yes. If you have a new/reissued/replacement card, you will need to enroll/register for VSC again at your favourite merchants.

9. I have an add-on or supplementary card attached to my primary Visa card. If I have enrolled the primary card into VSC, do I need to enroll the add-on or supplementary card separately into VSC?
If you wish to enjoy the VSC functionality on your add-on or supplementary card, you will need to separately register/enroll that card into VSC.

10. I enrolled/registered for the Visa Safe Click using my mobile, but I am unable to experience the same seamless experience using my other devices. Why?
