Terms and Conditions for discontinuation of Indus PayWear

These Terms and Conditions for Discontinuation shall be read together with the existing Indus PayWear Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, these discontinuation terms shall prevail.

Important: From 31 October 2026, the Indus PayWear wearable shall no longer be capable of making payment transactions and the associated PayWear services shall stand discontinued.

Discontinuation Terms and Conditions:

1. Effective 31 October 2026, the Indus PayWear program shall stand discontinued. Accordingly, the Wearable shall cease to function as a payment instrument, and customers shall no longer be able to undertake any transactions using the Wearable from the aforementioned date.
2. From 31st October 2026, the Bank shall not be obligated to process any request for replacement, renewal, reissuance or activation of a Wearable.
3. The award of Shop Plus Points (or any other benefit offered as part of the discontinuation exercise) shall be subject to the eligibility criteria determined by the Bank. The Bank's decision regarding eligibility, computation and credit of such benefit shall be final and binding.
4. The Bank reserves the right to withhold, reverse, cancel or deny any discontinuation benefit in the event of fraud, misuse, abuse, suspicious activity or any discrepancy identified by the Bank.

Customers shall note the following in respect to the discontinuation of the Indus PayWear and the refund of issuance fee:

• Eligibility: Customers who have used the PayWear Wearable device for at least one successful payment transaction, will be eligible for refund of the issuance fee in the form of Shop Plus Points of the same worth. 
• Shop plus points will be uploaded by 30 November 2026 and will be valid for 3 months. Customers can redeem shop plus points across a wide range of brands by logging in to https://www.gyftr.com/indusindshopplus using their IndusInd Bank registered Mobile Number. 
• The credit of Shop Plus Points as provided herein shall constitute the final benefit being extended by the Bank in connection with discontinuation of the Indus PayWear program
• If the customer has already received a full or partial refund earlier through any offer as intimated by the Bank from time to time, service gesture, or any other adjustment, the points credited will be adjusted accordingly. 
• The Bank's determination regarding eligibility, refund and credit of Shop Plus Points shall be final and binding and shall be at sole discretion of the Bank.
