IndusInd Bank Corporate WhatsApp Banking is a convenient and secure digital channel that enables corporate clients to raise non-transactional service requests directly through WhatsApp. Clients can easily raise requests on WhatsApp with few taps and get related documents on E-mail without visiting branch. All documents are securely delivered only to the registered email ID in a password-protected format.

Available Services

Corporate clients can raise requests for the following services via WhatsApp Banking:

  • Balance Confirmation Certificate (BCC)
  • Ad‑hoc (Account) Statement (including FD Account)
  • FD Interest Certificate
  • FD Interest Calculation
  • FD Lien Report
  • FD Outstanding Letter

Steps to Access

  • Save the official IndusInd Bank Corporate WhatsApp number (+91 8822777444) and send ā€œHiā€.
  • Accept the Terms & Conditions and complete the one‑time free registration by clicking on ā€œSubscribeā€ and entering the last 5 digits of your CIF.
  • Select the required service from the View Options menu.
  • Enter the required details (last 5 digits of account/FD number and date range, if applicable). Ā 
  • Receive a system‑generated acknowledgement with a service request number, followed by the requested document on your registered email ID.

Process to follow

Registration: It requires one time setup and subscription which is free of cost

  • Corporate clients to message on WhatsApp with ā€˜Hi’.
  • Provide consent on T&C’s by taping on subscribe.
  • User to enter the CIF id (last 5 digits).

Login: It requires every time for raising service request

  • Corporate clients to message on WhatsApp with ā€˜Hi’.
  • Provide consent on T&C’s by taping on subscribe.
  • User to enter the CIF id (last 5 digits).
  • User to now select the service from menu option
  • User to enter the Account no (last 5 digits).
  • The requested service statement will be sent to your registered email ID.

Requesting a Balance Confirmation Certificate (BCC)

  • Select BCC from the menu.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your account number linked to your CIF.
  • Provide the balance confirmation date in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  • You will receive a system-generated acknowledgment with a service request number.

Requesting an Ad-hoc Statement

  • Select Ad-hoc Statement from the menu.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your account number/FD account number.
  • Choose the statement period from the available options such as ā€˜Last Month Statement’, ā€˜Last 3 Months Statement’, ā€˜Last 6 Months Statement’, ā€˜Last 1 year’ or select Custom Date to specify a date range.
  • Date range can be maximum of 1 year (365 days) which selecting custom date.
  • You will receive a system-generated acknowledgment with a service request number.

Requesting a FD Interest Certificate

  • Select FD Interest Certificate from the menu.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your FD account number linked to your CIF.
  • Provide the From Date and To Date in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  • Date range can be maximum of 1 year (365 days) which selecting custom date.
  • You will receive a system-generated acknowledgment with a service request number.

Requesting a FD Interest Calculation

  • Select FD Interest Calculation from the menu.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your FD account number linked to your CIF.
  • Provide the From Date and To Date in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  • Date range can be maximum of 1 year (365 days) which selecting custom date.
  • You will receive a system-generated acknowledgment with a service request number.

Requesting a FD Lien

  • Select FD Lien from the menu.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your FD account number linked to your CIF.
  • You will receive a system-generated acknowledgment with a service request number.

Requesting a FD Outstanding

  • Select FD Outstanding from the menu.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your FD account number linked to your CIF.
  • Provide the Date in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  • You will receive a system-generated acknowledgment with a service request number.

Security, Controls & Support

Customers are advised to interact only with the official IndusInd Bank WhatsApp number bearing a blue verified tick to ensure secure communication. As a control measure, repeated incorrect entries of CIF or account details may result in temporary suspension of WhatsApp Banking services, which are automatically restored after a cooling period of 48 hours.

  • For Retail Banking customers:

You will then receive the service menu applicable to your account type.

No, IndusInd WhatsApp banking for Corporate Customers can be used on the mobile number registered with the bank only.

To use IndusInd Bank on WhatsApp for Corporate Customers, you have to update the changed phone number for your IndusInd Bank account. Please note the WhatsApp chat can be used only on a mobile number that is registered with the IndusInd Bank.

You will receive the Statement or Certificate within 15 minutes on registered E-mail ID after raising the request on WhatsApp. The documents are in a password-protected PDF format, with the password being the CIF.

You can find your CIF number in:

  • Your passbook (printed on the first pages).
  • Your bank statements.
  • Internet or mobile banking under account/profile details.
  • By contacting customer support or visiting the branch.

No, the FD Interest certificate and FD Interest calculation Letter can generate only until current date.

Yes, you can raise multiple requests, but each document will be sent separately to your registered email ID.
