Sports, After All, Is All About Inclusion

Shooting has been particularly beneficial for India. Apart from yielding a rich haul medals, it has also been a sport that has given Indian athletes an opportunity to shine with their skills.

In an effort to capitalize on this opportunity to foster excellence, IndusInd Bank has partnered with the Department of Sports and Youth welfare, Govt. of MP, to give these athletes a chance to nurture their talent locally.

Many of these stars who come from economically modest backgrounds are sought after by some of the biggest government organizations once they turn 18. But, accepting such jobs puts them at a disadvantage because a transfer forces them to move away from the shooting academy. Consequently they lose the training opportunities here.

Which is why, IndusInd Bank has partnered with the government of M.P. to provide job opportunities locally itself. This will ensure that they remain associated with the M.P. sports academies during their training while discharging their duties at the bank when employed. It gives them the dual advantage of progressing in their sporting careers without being financially worried.
